Tito Nieves was born as Humberto Nieves in Rio Piedras - Puerto Rico and raised in New York. Already in his childhood he nourished his musical predilection for the latin american music, Pop and the "Blues" of his quarters. He admired the stars of the Fania and his major desire was to once being near to great names like Tito Puente, Hector Lavoe, Johnny Pacheco or Celia Cruz. At that time he would never had imagined that his deepest wish would soon come true!

After his long experience as Lead Singer for famous Salsa Bands (f.e. Orquesta Camarrón, Hector Lavoe Orchestra) he from 1988 finally presented himself as a Solo Artist. He released spanish as well as english songs from the beginning. At the latest after his world known single "I like It Like That", theme song of the correspondent movie and several known TV commercials, he had his great breakthrough.

After that moment, also thanks to the cooperation with Warner Music Latino from 2000, he wrote and released lots of known and successfull singles and albums. Repeated Latin Grammy Nominations and awards like the "Ace Award" confirmed his success year per year.

Beside big hits like "I like it like that", "Señora Ley" or "Fabricando Fantasias" he will also present songs of his newest album "ENTRE FAMILIA".
